If you plan on using a state limited use or state restricted use pesticide, such as Grazon P+D, 2 4-D, Weedmaster, etc., and need a license, the Texas AgriLife Extension Service will be hosting 4 Private Applicator Training yearly at the Waller County Extension Office. Waller County Master Gardeners are holding their annual on-line Fruit Tree Sale which started Saturday, August 15, and will continue until September 30. For those who don’t feel comfortable using the computer, paper order forms will be available at the Waller County Extension office between 9:00 AM and 12:00 PM, Monday thru Friday. If you plan on showing turkeys at San Antonio Livestock Show, Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo or Rodeo Austin, please have orders in by this date. All orders must be in 25 bird increments and families members may share birds. Cost of birds $4.25/bird, so $106.25 per 25.
