Waller County Master Gardeners are holding their annual on-line Fruit Tree Sale which started Saturday, August 15, and will continue until September 30.   For those who don’t feel comfortable using the computer, paper order forms will be available at the Waller County Extension office between 9:00 AM and 12:00 PM, Monday thru Friday.  There will be a Master Gardener in the office every day to answer your questions, provide an order form or accept payment of cash, check or credit card.

In Waller County, we can grow many different types of fruit trees, from peaches, pears, and plums to many varieties of citrus, tropical and semi-tropical trees. The Waller County Master Gardeners sell trees that are highly adapted to our climate and with proper care should grow well and produce fruit for many years to come. Fruit and citrus trees are a welcome addition to any landscape and can provide color, fruit and beauty to your yard.

Some of the trees new to our sale this year are the Cherry Barbados, the Citrus Tangelo (Pearl), and the Mexicola Grande Avocado. New also is the thornless Blackberry, Prime-Ark Freedom, the Goji Berry and the Turmeric plant.  And don’t miss some of our favorites: Improved Meyer Lemon, Arbequina Olive tree, and the Key Lime.  For a complete list visit our website.
